I’ve never been one to follow tradition, so I’m once again “breaking the rules” by announcing publicly:

I’m Writing A Book

I’ve had enough people show interest in my events and wonder how I plan them that I have decided to create a book detailing my entire process. I envision it being part workbook and part journal, filled with colorful photos and hand-drawn illustrations of the narrative structure and brainstorming activities I use to create truly memorable events. But before you get too excited, know that I must first find a publisher, which is a process that can sometimes take years. (If you happen to know of a great acquiring editor or agent or are one yourself, please feel free to email me directly at for a proposal and sample chapters!)

I also have a longer-term goal of making a series of books, divided up seasonally. Each book would contain 3 months worth of my seasonal foraged recipes, essays, and rituals. I’ve been working for over a year now to build content and still have a ways to go. Hopefully someday I’ll be able to see all of that hard work come to fruition in a beautiful, heirloom-quality set of marvelous books.
